Five year old Ginny Tiu burst on the national scene when she appeared on the Ed Sullivan show in 1959. She would go on to become a regular on network variety shows, play for President Kennedy and perform with Elvis Presley in one of his movies. For many Asian Americans, Ginny became a symbol of what they could become in this country. I hope to have this documentary completed by May of 2026.
